Americana singer-songwriter Ron Schaffer has four albums to his credit. He has written and performed all songs.

His first album - entitled The Peace Butlers - was a straight forward rock album with catchy hooks and driving guitar.

His second album - Traveler - was his most successful venture to date. This album received airplay on European radio stations as well as on independent American radio.

His third album - entitled Still Traveling - was an acoustic album that highlighted Ron's unique voice and songwriting skills.

Ron has just completed work on a new album, 'Songwriter's Collection: Volume 1' - which was released on December 12th, 2008 during his CD Release Party at the Freakin Frog in Las Vegas, NV, and which has met with excitement and acclaim!

The songs on this album are truly what the title implies: a songwriter's collection. These are songs that Ron Schaffer has written, played, and performed live over the last 20 years. He has traveled extensively to over 50 countries, and this disc is a "musical photo album" of the many adventures he has had along the way. Fans of Americana, Country, and Folk will all find a home within this 13 song disc.

Extra special thanks go out to Cousin B (aka Brian Ascenzo) who produced, arranged, recorded, and mixed this album at Pegwood Arts - his exceptional studio in Las Vegas, NV.

Cousin B also produced two videos for songs from this album. In addition, he performed the lion share of the instrumentation including lead guitars, mandolin, keyboard, and bass.

Also, THANKS! to drummer Mark "Doc" Young and harmonica player Todd Hite, for their invaluable contributions.

'Traveler' is the solo musical debut of Ron Schaffer - Americana recording artist. The album was recorded in Los Angeles in 2002, and the songs are a collection of roots/rock anthems and country/folk stampedes. These are songs from the heart, built for the road.

'The Peace Butlers'

This was a collaborative effort and the first album of Ron Schaffer, who wrote all of the lyrics and much of the music*. It was first released in 1999, and is currently only available on Lulu.

Ron is considering revisiting some of his songs from this early work on upcoming releases.
